A MOTHER'S ANGUEASH
She lies in a hospital bed

And her eyes are swollen and red

Her mind is in turmoil and cannot sleep

All night she worries deep

Her health she knows she can't keep

And worries where the children will sleep

When the light goes out for keeps.
