' He Died On The Cross



For my sins he was condemned today



And they mocked and made him pay



Into his hands and feet they naile



Then on a cross he was impaled.



The soldier was impatient for my lord to die



They heard the last words he cried



'Father forgive them.' He sighed



Bowed his head and died.



The Centurion thrust the spear into his side



Blood and water flowed and he called



'The King has dead #



A splash of blood sprayed on to his head.



A feeling of sadness came over him



Then the skies began to dim



The world was free from sin.
