family, friends
sharing as one
dinners and talking
laughter, tears
connections and bonds
strongly formed
making memories
future plans
promises are made
secrets kept
a place to go
that I can write
feel safely content
my mind can open
words flow out
a table and chairs
such a simple thing
yet here at our home
it's so much more
