Labor Day

Prompt: Lyn asked us about Labor Day, why we have it and how we celebrate it in our town and personal lives.

Labor Day is celebrated for the working people and the laboring process. My job has been a pain this week and we deserve a special day.

What do I do to celebrate? My mother and I go to the Blueberry Festival where there are Flea Markets, a carnival, singers, parade, fireworks, food, blueberry everything and games. I like to go for the flea markets. This festival lasts four days but I only go one night.

My husband and I have a Cook Out. Steak, hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad and watch TV. We are going to the zoo Saturday. That is my Labor Day weekend. Hope everyone has a good one.
