Twinkle Twinke

The twinkle in your eyes
reflects the stars
shining so bright in the sky.

Wrinkled face,
from smiling so much,
what secrets does it hold?

As does the universe
hides the truth from us all,
so does your heart, from me.

Revealing nothing
to no one at all,
hidden treasures tucked away.

Not wishing upon a star,
I'll never know the truth,
of who you truly are.

There will forever be
that twinkle in your eye
to wonder forever.
