Coffee and Laundry Unwashed for seven days my coffee cup awaits this morning's freshly brewed carafe of joe I pass piles of laundry beckoning me to lug them to the laundromat when I have time By the coffeemaker waiting for time to pass I contemplate the reason for my life I pour a steaming cup of ambition and sip in the silence of an autumn morning I long for the answers that meditation brings to my weary mind and soul at sunrise Unwashed piles of laundry waiting for time to pass in the silence of an autumn sunrise Line Count: 30 Form: A garland cinquain is a sequence of 6 cinquain with the 6th cinquain composed of lines from the proceeding 5 in this sequence Line 1 from Stanza 1, Line 2 from Stanza 2, Line 3 from Stanza 3, Line 4 from Stanza 4 and Line 5 from Stanza 5.
