Has A Phone Call Ever Changed Your Life?

Prompt: Has a phone call ever changed your life?

More then once. Getting a call from the Doctor that I needed hernia surgery. MY GYBN called to tell me I needed a total hysteresctomy. Course, I had to go to talk to the doctors. I don't like phone calls like these.

My mother called at different times to tell me my grandparents had died {separate phone calls}, my aunt died and my uncle died.

The Vet called to say my cat with kidney disease died. She was having IV therapy. She was 17 and my husband had to pick her up as soon as he got off work. That was a bad day. He came home with her and we buried her.

Most of the time I hate to answer the phone.
