I love this song. I am glad I have my husband with me at Christmas. I love singing this song. I watched Karen Carpenter sing this in a video, it is hard to believe this beautiful woman with a great voice is going. I love that a local station plays Christmas songs the day after Thanksgiving and this song is one of the ones included. I imagine sitting by a warm fireplace singing this song.

When I was single and I had a boyfriend, this song would play and I would think of him but am glad I no longer have that person in my life. He was important at that time. This Christmas song is a love song and I don't always like love songs at Christmas but I love this one. It is a quiet one and speaks to you.This could be a Christmas Carol. It is among my favorites.
