Writing Rituals

Prompt: Which rituals have you kept that keep you on track with your writing?

I write from the heart. I like to write in first person. Sometimes, I will have an idea in my mind and when I start writing, I may change the direction of the story. I don't write comedy but I do include comedy in some of my stories. Novels take too long to write so I just do short stories. I do write a few poems. I like writing fiction, romance, fantasy and I write Blog entries. I love writing in Jane Austen style and some children stories and Native American. When I write Native American stories, I feel my deceased full blooded Cherokee Grandma helps me write them. I try to go to a place in my mind and be the characters that I am writing. I just let my imagination and muse take me away.
