Mystery at Work
When I write about mystery at work, I realize that it may be about the mystery that is work or a mystery that is happening there. It could be in this case that there is a little bit of both. The company that I work for is leaving the current site and moving us to other locations. I have no idea what that will mean for me. I applied for the company that was taking over the site, but decided I would rather keep my insurance rather than have to start all over again. Here I sit. I will know something by July 21st. I hate these kind of mysteries. I tend to always think of the worst thing that can happen. I like the security (which is also the name of my job) I get from knowing I have certain benefits. One of those benefits is vacation. I will take a trip to Massachusetts in the beginning of August. It could be one of those regroup vacations.
The mystery that is work is one of those intriguing fountains of expectation. I work with a client who can do little of nothing physically. I wonder what I am doing there some times. The wife of the client is ever viligant to make sure her eighty year old husband gets the best of care. I just happen to be part of that process. Life goes on.
