Fears

Prompt: You are locked in a room with your greatest fears. Describe what is in the room.

There are germs that cause disease and cancers. There are spiders, alligators and snakes. There is a breathing tube. There is a tornado blocking the door. I could fall into a deep sleep any minute and not wake up like after my surgery last summer when I was on a breating tube for six days. I can't walk. I can hardly breathe. Wait! All is not lost. A dolphin rushes in with ocean water {Flipper?!} and kills the alligator and the dolphin and alligator are gone. A giant mongoose takes out the snake and a big bird eats the spiders. A team of doctors gets rid of the germs and takes away the breathing tube. I am going to be alright. My husband and cat are on the other side of the door. I am out and going home. God is with me, too. He will calm my fears. I will put my fears behind me and they won't bother me again,
