Bystanders

Prompt: Do Bystanders Have a responsibility to intervene when someone is In trouble?

I work in mental health and the rule is: If I see someone advice a child, report it. I am certified in CPR every year so I feel it is my responsibility to help someone who may be having a heart attack and passes out. I am like a Nurse at my job. If someone abuses an animal, I will report it and slap the person. I feel it is our responsibility to help our fellow man in bad situations. After all my years as working in the Medical field, I feel a sense of honor to do so. I will be there to help others.
