To feel love?
Hello my sunny pals,

Do you ever feel love?

Is it something you hear and understand? Is it a message from within or without? I am really struggling with the concept of romantic love. I am not sure if I know how to be "in-love".

I know what it's like when I love. I know how I feel and care. I know how I want to express it. I know the excitement I feel. What I don't understand is when I stop feeling that way I also stop hearing. You can tell me you love me every day but I don't hear it or feel it. Is that normal?

I do love myself. I am in love with myself, so I don't think that is it.

Is it even love if that feeling goes away? Is it even love when I feel nothing in return?

How do I express this to someone else when I barely understand it myself?

I am not an expert on love. I know I am a loving person. I know that I am loved. What I don't understand is how to make someone not love me when I don't love them in return. I am not responsible for your emotions. I am only responsible for mine.

Love,
Michelle
