This reminds me of my post on revenge. We are not obligated to revenge our enemies. However, we are or should be obligated to repay those who exude kindness. This world would be a better place if we weren't so selfish, thinking only of ourselves, forsaking the kindness in our path. If we acknowledged all of the kindness we encountered, I believe we, ourselves would be a kinder people.
