Day to day stuff....a memoir without order. |
Jim had labwork, an appointment with his diabetes doc, and physical therapy this afternoon. We left home around 1:15 in a raging thunderstorm, wind blowing me sideways on the interstate, lightning flashing all over the place, and my windshield wipers going errch,errch,errch...got to get those suckers changed before they drive me nuts. By the time we got to the lab, thankfully, it was only sprinkling. Grateful for those intermittent, scattered thunderstorms, and free carwashes. Mopsy must have slept through the whole thing. She was in the very same spot when we got back home. Jim's MRI finally got screduled for the 26th of July...there must be a waiting line for those things. Last Friday he saw his eye doctor and his cataracts are very bad...ready to be removed if the ophthalmologist agrees. He has so many health issues, it is possible he will say "no". I hope not. Watching movies and television is just about his only pasttime now. Better vision, even a little bit, would be a big boost to his outlook right now. I'm still not sure what to do about my class. I've reread my evaluation...all of them sing the same old song...I tell instead of showing. I see the difference when someone writes it out in black and white, but doing it myself is about as hard as speaking Chinese...yin and yang is the extent of my Chinese. I'm mulling it over and wondering exactly how I am going to complete this class. Those bad evaluations just plain hurt....enough of that. I've still to clean up supper dishes and the trash man cometh tomorrow....so.... until next time....c |
