Thanks for the concern about Jim...
He is doing okay, but of course his doctor had no idea why he fell...except as I thought, blood pressure. Nothing new showed up on any of his biannual tests, so I guess that's a good thing. His PT person, Danny, is on vacation this week so no PT till the 31st. The following week Danny has guard duty for two weeks. He is trying to find a replacement to work with Jim during those two weeks. It all tends to sap one's enthusiasm.

Summer has definitely arrived in sunny Florida...days in the 90's and nights in the 70's...and only May. So far this month, it has rained only once....just like April. My mater plants (with a long A) are giving up the ghost.

Last Saturday evening I started out to clean the birdbath, got halfway there, and felt...and heard...a popping sound in my left knee everytime I took a step. Wondering if I would make it to the birdbath, I turned around and went back in. I read several "googles" and they all said if there is no pain (which there isn't), there is nothing to worry about. I continue to pop and snap with every other step...left knee only. I wonder if it ever goes away or if I will be getting strange stares on my next visit to the library...it's sort of loud when it's quiet. I've been business as usual, but no long walks yet. I think I'll give it a few days to see if it goes away.

Last night's Masterpiece Mystery was Murder on the Orient Express. I must have watched it ten times already. PBS should visit the library and borrow some new dvd's to show...*Rolleyes*. So I did just that - P.D. James' The Murder Room, 180 minutes long, and I can watch it as I want to. Goodbye PBS.

until next time....c
