A strange message.

I was typing away on a story this afternoon and left the site to google some information I needed. When I clicked onto the site to come back in, I got this message, Fatal error: Call to undefined function MYSQL_PCONNECT() in /home/WWW/writing.com/htdocs/main/includes/system.inc on line 190. I tried a couple of times resulting in the same thing happening so I decided to leave for a while and come back later. About 45 minutes later, I clicked on writing.com and voila....perfect. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else. Or if there is a computer geek out there, what did it mean?

While we are waiting for our character class to begin, we are discussing passive voice. That is what I was typing...a flash fiction story with no passive voice...turns out to be not as hard as it sounds. This is the article, "Dealing with the Passive Voice?" , written by one of our very own instructors at New Horizon's, that got me started. I used the instructions to check some of my already written stories and was sadly surprised (no, make that shocked) to learn that I AM A PASSIVE VOICE WRITER, heretofore unknown, at least to this degree. So I have lots of practicing to do and what better way than flash fiction, I'm thinking.

I watched the long awaited, "confrontational" episode of The Good Wife last night and was sorely disappointed. I could have been reading much better stories here on WDC. So much for tv.

It is almost dark and I must go and water my maters...no rain yet...so
