Twenty-six point two miles you can run.
If that is your idea of fun.
But if you like to write,
Then I think that you might
Like better a writing marathon.

The marathon is run by this guy
who thinks he's funny. I don't know why.
He gives prompts to write verse
stories and even worse
Articles which can make your brain fry.

Your work is judged and then receives votes,
And upon whose work everyone dotes,
Is decided the worst
And which one is the first
Among the prose writers and poets.
