Poem # 3

They entered the contest that she saw on the news,
The object of which was to compose an essay
'Twas a contest which he could not possibly lose
The topic was one on which he had so much to say
In fact, he discussed it almost every day.
Twenty-five hundred words on the way rum is made.
They won and pretty soon they were well on their way.
A fabulous vacation, all expenses paid.

They brought shirts, shorts, bathing suits and open-toed shoes.
They wanted to be comfortable throughout their stay.
So many different styles it was hard to choose.
Some were expensive, but they were able to pay
