A wonderful surprise...

As soon as I checked into WCD this morning, I found I had won the Daily Flash for yesterday. What a nice surprise for Valentine's Day. And I got three good reviews on it. There is a big smile on my face...can you see it?

The weather has turned beautiful...cold at night but 70 degrees during the day...I'm lovin' it. Jim and I picked out our Don Juan rose bush as Garden Gate yesterday, and I planted it near the east corner of the house and back porch in front of the garden hose carrier. Since it can become a climber, in a couple of years...maybe a pretty trellis behind it. I can see it now...a white fan trellis loaded with lush green leaves and big velvety deep red roses emitting their sweet perfumey scent throughout my back porch...yes! Another wondeful Valentine's present.

My Cache Class is going well, working on character development now. I'm having a hard time giving my character peculiar traits. I guess I haven't been around that many peculiar people, although I have read several books about peculiar people (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo comes to mind immediately.) Somehow, though, they just don't seem real to me. I like the interior stuff better than the exterior, but I don't think that is going to do my assignment any good.....

I am so glad it is warming up. We bought a half flat of strawberries yesterday, too. Delicious, they always make me feel like winter is over and spring is just around the corner...yaay...
