In between doing other things...

Today I have started examining my tarot cards. The colors are beautiful and the pictures are enchanting, literally. It is amazing how many objects can be squeezed onto one card. No wonder the interpretations can be so varied. Where the card is positioned in the reading also has to do with the interpretation. This may take the rest of my life to figure out...lol. There's that logic of mine at work instead of my eensy teensy imagination. I'm always trying to put everything in that little box I think it belongs in.

Someone in my class does a lot of research for story ideas, also, and mentioned how looking up one thing leads to another and another and...you get the picture. That happened today to me with the tarot research on Google. Medium popped up, then the Medium tv show, then Allison Dubois...and...I didn't know there was a real Allison Dubois. Guess where she was born...yep, Arizona. Ohoh. Really, the show is based on her life from a book she wrote, Don't Kiss Them Good-Bye. She actually interned at a District Attorney's office, her husband is named Joe, he's an aerospace engineer (now retired), and they have three daughters. Just like in the show. And she thinks her daughters have inherited her gift. I wonder what it would be like to be her? Be careful what you ask for, Connie.

Then, I heard on the news tonight that the infamous Jared Loughner was into "lucid dreaming". That made me want to throw away my dream notebook...not that it has much in it. If I don't write something down within three seconds of waking up, it's gone! Plus, I think they said he ate hallucinogenic mushrooms...I wouldn't touch those things...lol.
