A bump in the night...
Something knocked over one of my birdbaths last night. I heard the "thump" when it fell. It's a two-piece concrete pedestal and bowl and very heavy. I suspect a raccoon...hope he didn't get hurt. I guess everything is thirsty with this drought we're having. Here's a great site to identify birds by their songs, http://www.birdjam.com/birdsong.php?id=3.

The Gators play their last game of the season tomorrow...and the last one coached by Urban Meyer. It's the Outback Bowl in Tampa against Penn State. Hardly anyone wants us to win and I can understand that. Joe Paterno is a legend and deserves all the respect he gets. He even has an ice cream flavor named after him, but, still, I will be rooting for my gators...go gators.

I devised a new way to get exercise last night while watching a movie (Antwone Fisher). Whenever a commercial comes on, I get up and walk...20 minutes just during one movie...better than eating. I thought the commercial were longer than that. Now, if I can only find another movie worth watching?

My mailperson (new for about the last month) seems to be coming later and later these days. Sometimes on Saturdays it's 4:30...or maybe not at all. I don't know why I'm so concerned. I only get junk anyway, but the Christmas cards were nice and I guess that's when I really noticed how late it came. I wonder if he has another route somewhere else...and what happened to whats her name? A mystery yet to be solved so...

until next time....c
