Day to day stuff....a memoir without order.

Sometimes....
we as writers, or even just human beings, feel so alone, so unique, different, we think no one else feels like we do. I'm normally an optimistic person, but I have times when I get down in the dumps. I start thinking about "what if". What would I be doing now if.... Suppose I had....whatever. But it never does any good to think like that, because I am here...and now...and what is past cannot be changed. All I can do is the best I can today and maybe tomorrow, do my best so that tomorrow I won't be sorry for what I did today.

And big surprise, I'm not alone. Much of the human race feels the same way I do. I think they call it the human predicament. So we must go on and do as our conscience tells us we should. I know for some that seems old fashioned, but somewhere along my journey of life it got embedded in my brain and I don't know any other way to live. Sometimes though I am witchy and grudging about it and I hate being that way the most. Okay, enough of my sniveling for tonight.

My PDG newbie I mentor, emailed me yesterday and asked if she could use me in her introductory speech challenge. I was honored...hope she asks me a bunch...what fun to be interviewed!

My birthday sunflowers are ready to be thrown out. Mopsy has enjoyed them (the foliage anyway) as much as I have. All you cat owners know what I mean. It has been chilly the last couple of nights and she has been sleeping under the comforter, but she still wants out on the porch first thing in the morning...and it's been cold. Crazy cat.

It seems as though there have been two Sundays in this week. Tomorrow, hopefully, my inner calendar will get back to normal. I don't know why but I have not touched my piano in forever. And why is it I only think about it late at night? Oh well...I am doing one more review before bedtime...

Until next time....c
