I am now an experienced vcr repairman....

One of Jim's old movie tapes got stuck in his vcr today and would not eject so, being the investigator I am, I looked it up on Google. "Take out the 3 screws in the top of the case (actually there were 5), remove the top, disengage the tape film, plug in the vcr and hit 'eject'." It worked like a charm. The player runs perfectly and I am sooo not mechanically inclined.

And I definitely knew today was Friday when I woke up...it was my birthday! I got some beautiful sunflowers from my daughter, Erica, and happy birthday messages from everywhere. I heard from four long lost childhood friends on F.B. Unbelievably, they found me on my birthday! What a pleasant day I have had. I had 2 pieces of my favorite chocolate cake and I am stuffed.

Amber, my campfire partner, emailed and the PDG has given the newbies an extension, another week, on our campfires, so we are going to try to do five more entries each, I am glad she wants to keep working on it. If she has faith in me, I have to have some in myself. My brain has to come out of this siesta it is in sooner or later

I hope everyone has a nice weekend. It is beautiful weather here. The Gators play South Carolina tomorrow evening. I have my fingers crossed. I am now going to take my stuffed self to bed...
