The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow |
Istiqlál (Independence), 16 Rahmat (Mercy), 167 BE – Friday, July 9, 2010 about 7:13 AM Pacific Time My mother and grandmother cleaned the refrigerator in one morning. Shelf-by-shelf they would remove the food, take the shelf out, wash it, and then put the shelf along with its contents back into the refrigerator. That used to be my method as well, but not any more. I have put off cleaning it because I thought I that was the only way to clean it. I cleaning it shelf-by-shelf, just not the entire frig in one day. I clean the top shelf on Monday evening and now I have to clean the next shelf. Cleaning the entire refrigerator at one time is difficult because I get interrupted when Mom needs something. The top shelf looks beautiful, so neat and clean with all the food items in proper order. I put cans of fruit and condensed milk on the top shelf along with two pitcher of juice and storage containers of fruit. I like to eat cold fruit, so I put it in the fridge to get cold. I open a can of fruit and put it in a storage container, so that there is always a couple of servings ready to eat. The top shelf is neat and well organized. I have to do the next shelf now, probably tonight or in the morning when Mom is asleep. If I clean the fridge when she is away, Mom gets upset if I have to throw anything out. It is better to clean the refrigerator when Mom cannot get upset about what I am throwing out. |
