Every account includes a free online portfolio for storing literary items, along with simple creation utilities for adding new work. Members also receive an easy-to-remember public portfolio URL to share with family, friends, or publishers.

Recognition Within the Community
Each Writing.Com author contributes in his or her own way by engaging readers with creative work. We recognize and promote members who interact positively within the community and maintain active portfolios of their own writing. These individuals may become Preferred Authors or Moderators and are often found answering questions and offering guidance throughout the site.

Ratings and Reviews
Writers of all skill levels can develop their style and see how readers respond through our rating and review system. Registered members may rate and review items that request feedback, offering honest and unbiased opinions. Authors may also choose to share their work without requesting reviews.
