Chapter 1
It is July 12, a Friday morning, very early and it is cold. Richard's alarm went off in a large single room he rented, part of an old Edwardian House now sitting forlornly on a major road near a Railway Station that has 6 lines through it all night and the occasional steel train from or to Hastings.

Richard slowly got out of bed and mad ehis way to the bathroom and toilet facilities at the back of the house.
