Distant Hearts

Distant hearts came together by happenchance
Unaware of the power or spell which was cast
Soaring into the future forgetting the past
Each fulfilling a void of misguided choices
Each heart taking comfort in long distant voices

Distant hearts traveled on high in the uncharted land
Of emotion and love each hand in hand
No boundaries to high or distance to great
They set out in search of a happier beat

Distant hearts danced with the sun
And made love by the moon
Never touching or meeting
But yearning and needing

For distance has no boundaries for hearts that beat
An awakening discovery to feel complete
