Oops There Goes The Whole Pop Culture-Kerp Plop!

I know next to nothing about ‘pop culture,’
I’m a die hard ‘country’ fan…
I don’t think much of Michael Jackson
for corrupting the concept of ‘Neverland!’

Perhaps I’m a bit antiquated…
Perhaps I’m showing my age
But I do remember back in the day
When Davy Jones was all the rage!

I used to watch ‘The Monkey’s—
He was my favorite Monkey, so sweet!
I met him at a concert once: He was
better in person than in 'Tiger Beat!'

It seems to me ‘pop culture’
Is mostly fluff, light as a helium balloon.
I wish that all the tack-y folderol
Would POP it. . . and soon!
