Mother Nature is getting ready for Winter. About time!

In the Winter I like to knit and crochet - there's just something about curling up on the sofa with a kniting/crochet project. Acutally, I think it's a tactile thing... I just love the feel of some of the newest yarns. Yarns like are available today were not available when I learned to knit.

I know... I know... I've been to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart sells knited and crocheted hats, gloves, and scarfs way cheaper than I can just buy yarn... it's not fair... but at least if I knit/crochet something... it's homemade... everybody and their brother can go to Wal-Mart and drop $10 bucks on something that had to be produced by nothing less than slave labor to be selling at the prices Wal-Mart is selling the stuff for...
