Replenish Me with the Rain

Dear God,

When it rains I feel introspective and it reminds me that I should turn to you more often than I do. Through the rhythmic drumming of the cool drops, I can feel you slowing the world down, refreshing us and replenishing our thirst. You always know what we need, what I need. Please help me to remember this when I'm rushing around and forgetting about my own nourishment. Please help me to remember that through you I can fill my spirit once again. You know I have made it a habit to search fruitlessly for you in the material things. Thank you for reminding me that if I just slow down and focus on you, you'll be there to quench my thirst again.
