Chapter 9- Dream (April Fool's Joke)

John woke up from his amazing dream with a start.

It was so real....

Looking around, he found himself back in his own village. Wiping the sleep away from his eyes he laughed.

Sergeant of the Vanguards? Keep dreaming farm boy! He berated himself.

"John Waylon! You have been sleeping well into the day! GET UP!"

Groggily, he rolled out of his sleeping mat and yelled back with iritation, "Yes mom!"

Muttering to himself, he slipped into his clothes and walked out of the room.

It always has to be a dream.
