Finally finished
Well, I have to admit this was a strenuous exercise. Taking the criteria for a contest entry and then molding it into an entire book from the ground up in 3 months - my brain is fried!

However, I have finished the novel (I've changed the name to Leyla's Locket: Book One of the Rainbow Trilogy)

I'm now deep into revisions- checking spelling, moving things around, adding dialogue, correcting contradictions. I have to have the novel mailed off next week to meet the deadline.

Once I'm done with that I may post the revised versions on here of at least the first 3 chapters. After THAT I will get back to work writing more short stories! :)
