"For Rent"

Who, what, when and Why?
Is it worth the cost?
If it is me for rent
then you might want to look twice.

I am an old rickety good for nothing
piece of crap that need not exist but am kept alive
by the little she eats and breathes.

Are you sure you want to rent a 32-year-old body that is better off kept to itself,
dormant and without much life.

It is stiff and can barely move.
Not a day goes by where a part of it
does not ache, in pain from the knee
that was broken a year ago.

Yes, can you believe it,
it was a year ago I broke
my right patella.

Damn, has it been that long
my how time flies
when you are in pain...
NOT!!!

"For Rent"
One weary body
worth only the years
it has gone through.

Enjoy it,
For the next 32 years
As they are bound to be harder,
and more painful.
