Day Twenty-Six, Part Two

         As we ascended, the two Unicorns sprouted wings and gracefully took off. Soon we were flying through the clouds. Hiei was holding tight unto Dianna's neck, but soon the Unicorn's defenses kicked in and he was sleeping. It was never a good idea to fly so high while awake. I was about to fall asleep when Rimana spoke to me.
         Your companion must be awakened before he can be put to sleep, he said.
         Does he have to be sober? I telepathed back.
         No. Just awaken him, and then I will make him sleep and you too, my Mistress.
         I shook Kurama awake. "What?" he said, looking around, his eyes still half-closed. Then he went back to sleep, his arms around my waist and his head on my back. I fell asleep not long after.
