Too Nice to Write

It's been a while. We are having 80 degree temps and the outdoors has been calling me. So writing goes by the wayside. I did watch a really good movie (up for an Oscar) on Netflix...Train Dreams is the name and it's a Rob Reiner film. Hope it wins something. I don't usually care for Oscar-nominated films but this one surprised me. It's quite sad.

Azaleas are blooming and the grass is turning green but a lot of shrubs have kicked the bucket this year due to the drought we are having and the very cold weather earlier. Some may come back if I can make myself leave them alone. Against my better judgment I have already trimmed back a few. Hummingbirds are supposed to be on their way, but I haven't seen any yet...feeder is up and waiting.
