A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Another Day Without Writing

Unless you count this blog entry as writing, I haven’t written anything today yet. Some consider these blog entries as writing, and some don’t. I’m not sure what I think about these blog entries as writing. Usually, I do, but sometimes I don’t. Today, I think that it is writing. After all, this is the first chance I have gotten to do any writing today.

Unfortunately, this has been the first chance I have gotten today to get any writing done. That’s how busy my brother and I have been today. It started very early this morning, but it didn’t end until almost the time of writing this blog entry. I almost didn’t get my latest blog entry written and posted until the end of this blog entry.

Tomorrow, I’m returning to work. What does that mean for my Part One Scene Outline for my Water Wars scriptwriting project? It means that I’m going to continue writing the paragraphs for this project. Unfortunately, I don’t know how many paragraphs I will get written for the first twelve-hour shift this weekend. Hopefully, it will be a lot.

It can’t get too much worse than last Saturday/Sunday’s twelve-hour shift. After all, if I remember correctly, I only got twelve paragraphs written in a nine-hour time frame for my writing of this Scene Outline. I did a lot better on my second twelve-hour shift last weekend. It was just barely twice as many paragraphs as the first twelve-hour shift.

Whether I get a lot more paragraphs in my first twelve-hour shift tomorrow, I may not have the opportunity to get any written on my second twelve-hour shift this weekend. After all, Sunday is the first of the month again. That means the newest WDC Short Story prompt may come out this Sunday. It’s hard to say whether it will come out this Sunday.

The WDC Short Story Contests like to present their prompts on the weekend, and Sunday is part of this upcoming weekend. So, they may prompt their latest prompt this Sunday. Then again, they may not. After all, they have three days to start their latest prompt. February only has twenty-eight days in the month, but next month has thirty-one days.

I don’t know about the second Short Story contest that I try to enter when they have a prompt that month. It’s often about a week before they prompt a new prompt. So, I don’t think I need to worry about this prompt this weekend. It can still happen this weekend, but it’s unlikely it will. If it doesn’t, I will continue working on this Scene Outline.

My brother and I are almost finished moving out of our old place into our new one. We may have one or two loads still left to take to our new place, but mainly, what is left to do is cleaning up the place before we turn in our keys this Monday. I could help him with one of these loads tomorrow, but I can’t help him do it on Sunday.

Right now, he wants me to help him with one load tomorrow morning. The rest of tomorrow morning and early afternoon, I can get ready to return to my first twelve-hour shift this weekend. I’m hoping that I won’t be helping him tomorrow morning, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I did. It could go either way. I just don’t know what tomorrow will bring yet.
