Wish

Anna made a wish
her wish came true
now she has a cat
and a backpack too

Anna told her cat
(and the pack could hear)
they would have some fun
in the forest near

Anna took a hike
in the woods nearby
they looked in the pack
it had no supplies

With an empty pack
and supplies so low
Anna had nothing
but the cat in tow

Even with nothing
but her and a cat
she somehow got home
though barely at that

Anna made it home
though tired and scared
and now she's cautious
and always prepared
