The Tower Called, she answered with fun and chaos ensuing. |
| Scarlett walked quickly down the road, her heels clicking on the side walk. She walked up to her favorite coffee shop door and opened it stepping inside. She took her place in line and waited patiently for her turn. While she was checking her phone she heard the customer at the counter getting heated up and raising his voice. “Why can’t you people get this right, you always seem to fuck up my coffee!” “Sir if your coffee is too hot may I suggest some ice?” The man was getting incensed and started spewing profanity at the younger girl at the counter. Scarlett looked at her watch and realized she didn’t have time for this shit. She looked around her and everybody’s eyes were on the dipshit screaming at the counter. She quickly made a gesture with her fingers and the guy at the counter started coughing and clutching his throat as he struggled to breathe. He stumbled backwards one of the other customers shoved him towards the door and Scarlett opened it as the dipshit stumbled through it. Scarlett watched the man collapse on the ground outside still clutching his throat. She looked at him and whispered a word and his breathing came back. “I think that’s natures way of saying don’t be an asshole Sir.” She glared at him and closed the door while he rose to his feet and staggered off still rubbing his throat. Back in the coffee shop she made her way to the counter and the young lady at the counter took the mans coffee and dumped it down the sink. “Hi Scarlett, will it be the regular today?” “Yes please. Hopefully that guy won’t come back” She responded. “I don’t get paid enough for people like him.” The girl at the counter shook her head and laughed lightly as she poured Scarlett her black coffee and handed it to her.” Scarlett put her credit card into the reader, punched in her numbers and gave the girl a huge tip. “Well I appreciate you honey, Thanks for the coffee and have a better day.” |
