This Friday, my brother and I are physically moving into our new place, but we still have a lot that we need to get done before we do this. Unfortunately, I may not have too much time this week to work on my writing. Whether it’s short stories, scriptwriting projects, etc., I may not have the time to work on them.

Today is a good example of that. I haven’t had any time today to work on my Part One Water Wars paragraph Scene Outline. Our moving isn’t the only reason why I didn’t have the time to work on this scriptwriting project, though. After all, this is a typical Monday. I needed to get some sleep after working a twelve-hour shift at work.

Unfortunately, getting that needed sleep meant that I only had a few hours this afternoon to work on my writing projects. Normally, that’s a possibility that I can get a little bit of writing done Monday afternoon to early evening. That isn’t true this Monday because my brother and I are moving into our new place this Friday.

It’s not a total lose when it comes to my writing. I did get some writing done on this Water Wars scriptwriting project during my second twelve-hour shift this last weekend. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as much writing as I was hoping that I would get done during this shift. After all, I only got thirty paragraphs written during this timeframe.

These thirty paragraphs include twenty-three scenes and seven Establishing Shots. Thirteen of these scene paragraphs were to end the Teaser Act of this Scene Outline. The other ten were written for the beginning of Act One of this Outline. It doesn’t read as if I accomplished too much during this second twelve-hour shift at work this last weekend.

In a way, it isn’t too much writing, but in another way, it is for me. After all, my second twelve-hour shift this last weekend was very busy. It usually isn’t too busy at work on a Sunday evening and a Monday morning, but it was yesterday evening and this morning. As a result, I only had about ten hours to work on this scriptwriting project.

It also means that the number of paragraphs I got written in an hour is an average of about three paragraphs. That isn’t too bad writing for me. I often average about three or four paragraphs in an hour regarding whatever writing project that I’m working on. Of course, I would like it to be more, but three paragraphs an hour is still good for me.

Especially under the circumstances. It wasn’t only how busy it got at work during this twelve-hour shift. I also had a lot of problems with my health at this rotten work site. Mainly, it was my hip that was giving me problems all this last weekend, but it was also sharp pains in my upper legs that happened quite often this last weekend.

I had a lot of problems walking around while I was working. That slowed me down a lot. As a result, it took me longer to accomplish what I needed to do at work. That means it took me longer before I could get back to working on this scriptwriting project. Putting it all together, I wouldn’t be surprised if it were less than ten hours during this timeframe.
