Having a Valentine's Day party today. I think this is 275 words day. When my sister in law, her husband and his brother came for the party my wife offered them "adult" gummies. It is two hours later and everything is very funny to them. Perhaps they should have taken a half gummy. Overall I think I will be serving dinner as well as lunch and I might have to blow up the air mattress for them because I can not in good conscience let them drive. Their ten year old son and I are the sober and responsible ones at the moment. It is sad that the boy is adulting better than his parents. We are still waiting for Papa to show up for the birthday portion of the party. We got him a waffle maker and waffle mix. My sister in law is snoring we had to put her to bed in the guest bedroom. So the gummy was a little too adult for her. I guess that means they were more potent than the ones they usually get. So yeah, dinner is a thing. Hopefully she will sleep it off enough to head home some time tonight. Her husband is in no state to drive at this point either. No more gummies at parties! We will stick to less potent comestibles from here on out. Still waiting for Papa and mom. They were running late so I fed everyone else. Theirs is in the oven keeping warm. I can not believe how loud my sister in law's snoring is. I can hear her in the living room. I feel bad about the situation and am glad I vetoed offering them the double strength gummies. That would have been worse. As it is it just is not a party I until someone has passed out.
