Equality Under Attack

Equality is under attack
under the ban of DEI
and woke mind virus

the Trump administration
is trying to make trans people
disappear legally

decreeing that there
is no such thing as trans people
as there are only two genders

Male and Female
Assigned by God
At birth

They are not protected
Against discrimination
Insurance coverage
can be denied

They can be fired
from sensitive
government positions

They cannot get
A passport or ID
Under their new gender
Because that gender designation
Is not considered void

And changing one’s ID
Is committing identity fraud

And they can be forced
To use the bathroom
Corresponding to their birth gender
Or be sent to prison

For the misdemeanor crime
Of using
the wrong gendered bathroom

Some on the right
Including three SC justices

are in favor
Of letting states decide
Whether gay marriage
Or gay rights are legal

Under the theory
The constitution

Must be interpreted
Along the lines
Of what the founders
Intented

This originalist federalist society
Point of view
Has been used by
rightwing activits judges

To strike down Roe V Wade
Gun control
and parts of voter rights act

And by common law
Gay rights and trans rights
Were illegal until
Very recently
