I Don’t Know About Friday

Unfortunately, I was right about today. I only got one Section/Part written for my WDC Short Story today. Of course, I tried to do a second Part/Section, but it didn’t turn out very well. The storyline and paragraphs didn’t feel right. Something was wrong with it and them. I’m still trying to figure that out.

The second Section/Part wasn’t my only problem with getting more written today on this WDC Short Story for this month. I also had a problem with time. Unfortunately, I was right about that. I only had about three hours today to work on this WDC Short Story. If I had another hour or two, I may have gotten another Part/Section written.

With about three hours, I should have gotten at least part of the second Section/Part written during that time frame. I tried to do that, but as I wrote above, I didn’t like how it came out. If I didn’t have that problem, I would have gotten at least half of it written. This second Part/Section may have been completely written if not for this problem.

I know that I’m not going to win any of these contests, especially the WDC Short Story Contest, but I still want to write the best Short Story that I can write. Especially, if it’s a Science Fiction Short Story, like most of my short stories for these contests are. ‘Changing the World, But Not Himself’ is one of those Science Fiction short stories.

What does only getting one Section/Part written today mean for me getting this WDC Short Story written by the end of this week, aka Friday? It means that I have four more Parts/Sections left to write before I finish writing this WDC Short Story, and only two days to write them. Can I write them in two days? That’s the big question.

Unfortunately, there is a very good chance I may not be able to finish this WDC Short Story before I return to work this Saturday. If I can’t, that means I will be doing one or two Section(s)/Part(s) during my first twelve-hour shift at work, and I don’t want to do that. After all, I will have to make a decision about which blog to write for on Sunday.

Why don’t I think I will get this WDC Short Story finished by Friday, aka the end of this week? It’s because there is a very good possibility that I will only get one Part/Section written tomorrow, and there is a very good chance that I may not get any time to work on this WDC Short Story tomorrow. I may be lucky if I have the time to do this blog entry tomorrow.

Whether it’s three or four Sections/Parts that I have to write by Friday, I don’t think that I will get that many written. Especially if my brother and I need to do anything on Friday. As far as I know, my brother and I don’t have too much to do this Friday, but I’m sure we have a few things that we need to do. It depends on how long it takes to do them.

Even if I have four or five hours to work on this WDC Short Story, it’s doubtful that I will get three or four Parts/Sections written by Friday. The only way I may get this WDC Short Story written by Friday and the end of this week is if I can get two Sections/Parts written tomorrow. It’s doubtful that I will get two Parts/Sections written tomorrow.
