A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Planning and Setup Unfortunately, I’m not as far along as I was hoping that I would be today. I was hoping that I would be through the planning and setup phase for my Calkin Cove scriptwriting project, but I’m not through this phase yet. I’m not even halfway through the planning part of it. Don’t get me wrong. I have accomplished a lot of the planning phase of this project, but it’s more complicated than I thought it would be. After all, there are eighteen characters associated with this project. Six main/secondary characters, secondary/main characters, and twelve Also Starring Characters associated with the six Starring characters. Each one of the Starring characters has two Also Starring characters. It’s true, these Also Starring characters aren’t as important as the six Starring characters, but they are still a big part of the six Starring characters/storylines. They just aren’t as big. The Also Starring characters won’t be in every scene that the six Starring characters are in, but at least one of them will be in most of their scenes, especially in the Action/Adventure part of it. After all, the beginning and the ending of this movie are an Action/Adventure, with the middle half of this movie being mainly Drama. I started my day today by creating a Calkin Cove 2025 folder. After I created it, I copied the contents of my ‘The Life of Billia and Helleni’ into it. Once I copied ‘The Life of Billia and Helleni’ documents into this folder, I changed the names of these documents to ‘Calkin Cove.’ Unfortunately, that’s as far as I went with most of these documents. The only document I started with was my ‘Calkin Cove Movie Synopsis’ document. After I opened it, I deleted the contents from ‘The Life of Billia and Helleni’ in it. Then I started working on the planning phase for my Calkin Cove scriptwriting project. So far, that’s the only part of my planning and setup phase of this scriptwriting project that I have accomplished today. Unfortunately, today has been a very busy day for me and my brother. As a result, I only had about five hours to work on my Calkin Cove scriptwriting project. Tomorrow, I return to work for my twenty-to twenty-four-hour weekend shift this weekend. I’m going to try to continue working on this project before I return to work early tomorrow evening, but I don’t know if I will have the time to do that. Lately, I have had a little time to work on my scriptwriting projects. Hopefully, this will be one of those times. Whether I get the time to work on this project before I return to work tomorrow at six PM WDC time, I will continue to work on it after I get to work. After I finish the planning phase of this project, I will start working on my spreadsheet phase of it. Hopefully, I will also get it done tomorrow. |
