A Typical Wednesday
A Typical Wednesday

Today has been a typical Wednesday. My brother and I had a lot that we needed to do today. It started early this morning and it ended almost into the evening hours. I only had about three hours to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project, aka the Story Outline and the Scene Outline for Episode Four of this television series.

That’s why I only got sixty-four sentences written today on this project. I needed fourteen sentences to finish writing my Episode Four Story Outline. After I finished the Story Outline for Episode Four, I got an additional fifty sentences written for the Scene Outline for this project. That leaves one hundred sentences left to write.

After I finish writing these one hundred sentences, I will be finished with not only these Episode Four sentences, but I will be done with all my sentences, unless I start working on one more movie’s sentences before I start writing the paragraphs for these projects. I haven’t decided about that yet.

A few weeks ago, I was downloading television episodes and movies for me to watch while at work over the weekend. While I was looking at these episodes and movies, I came across the movie ‘Pearl Harbor.’ That reminded me of a similar movie, ‘Calkin Cove,’ that I started working on several years ago.

So, I watched ‘Pearl Harbor’ to see how it compared to ‘Calkin Cove,’ especially the action part of it. ‘Calkin Cove’ isn’t that much like ‘Pearl Harbor’ after all. The general theme of both movies is the same, but ‘Pearl Harbor’ is more of a Romance Action/Adventure and ‘Calkin Cove’ is more of a Action/Adventure Drama.

Will I get these one hundred sentences written tomorrow to end the sentences phase of my scriptwriting projects so far? It depends on how long I have to work on them. If I can get four to five hours or more, I should be able to get this phase of my projects finished. That will leave me Friday and the weekend to work on ‘Calkin Cove’ if I decide to do that.

If I decide to proceed with my ‘Calkin Cove’ scriptwriting project, it will be a similar format to my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After all, it will have three main characters/storylines and three secondary characters/storylines. Only these characters will be reversed.

What do I mean by ‘reversed?’ It means that the three main characters in the first half of this movie and the last half of it will be the same, but in the middle they will become the secondary characters. The number of scenes for each ‘Act’ of this movie will be five scenes longer.

After all, this is an Action/Adventure Drama. The first and last part of this movie is the Action/Adventure part with the attack against ‘Calkin Cove.’ At the same time, the middle part of it is the Drama part of it, aka the aftermath of the first attack. Will ‘Calkin Cove’ be ready for the second attack against them? It will be ready.

What does all this mean? It means that this movie will be about one hundred and twenty-five minutes long, and that doesn’t include the Establishing Shots. So, it may be closer to about one hundred and thirty minutes long with these sixty extra scenes for this scriptwriting project.
