A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Over the Last Two Days I have written two hundred and sixty-seven sentences for my Water Wars scriptwriting project over the last couple of days. Early yesterday evening at six PM WDC time to early this morning at six AM WDC time, I got one hundred and ninety-two sentences written for this project. The rest of today, I got an additional seventy-five sentences written. Where did I leave off when I stopped working on this Water Wars scriptwriting project? I couldn’t remember where I left off. After all, that was four days. When I got to work yesterday evening, I found out I was ready to start working on the Scene Outline for Episode Two of this project. Unfortunately, it took me almost half of my twelve-hour shift yesterday evening to early this morning to finish writing these sentences, aka about an hour to write the sentences for each Act of this Scene Outline, or a little over two minutes to write each sentence. I don’t know why it took me so long to write these sentences, but it did. The only reason I can think of as to why it took me so long to write them is because of my work responsibilities. It didn’t get too busy during the first half of my shift at work yesterday evening, but it did get a little busier than usual for a Sunday. As a result, my writing suffered a little. Of course, it isn’t as bad as it looks. I still managed to write about five paragraphs every hour. That’s a lot better than I usually do. After all, I usually average about three or four paragraphs every hour or about fifteen to twenty sentences every hour. Early yesterday evening and earlier today, I got about twenty-five to thirty sentences written. When I finished writing these one hundred and fifty sentences, I was not only finished with this Scene Outline, but I was also finished with Episode Two of my Water Wars television series. After I finished Episode Two, I started working on Episode Three of this television series. Unfortunately, I only got an additional forty-two sentences written during the second half of my twelve-hour shift at work early this morning. Why did I only get forty-two sentences written for this project? It’s because I only had about four hours to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project early this morning instead of about six. It usually gets a little bit busier at work early Monday mornings, but today it was slight worse than it usually is on a Monday. As a result, I didn’t have as long to work on this project as I normally do. Still, forty-two sentences isn’t very good writing in about four hours. That only averages about two paragraphs every hour, ten sentences, or six minutes for each sentence. I don’t know how that happened. The worst part is that I barely got this Episode Three Story Outline finished in those four hours. It should have been a lot more than that. I should have also gotten one or two Acts for the Episode Three Scene Outline. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my first three Acts for my Episode Three Scene Outline written until the middle of the afternoon today. After all, I only had about four hours to work on this project because I needed some sleep, because of working overnight and what my brother and I needed to do today. My brother and I didn’t have a lot that we needed to do today, but what we did need to do took us a couple of hours to complete. As a result, I only had a few hours to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. The good news is I got two hundred and sixty-seven sentences written over the last two days, but the bad news is it should have been more. |
