Monster Dictionary Update

So, after a couple of recent blog posts a person asked me how the Monster Dictionary was going as I haven't mentioned it in a while.

Well, it is still going!

So, let's look at where we've come from.

A year ago, September 2024, the dictionary stood at:
278,457 words over 463 pages

With 6977 animal/monster/humanoid names


Fast forward to March this year and, after getting my hands on a few books, the dictionary was now:
304,363 words over 509 pages

With 8014 animal/monster/humanoid names


So now, after one last burst of energy, the dictionary stands at:
316,146 words over 529 pages

With 8355 animal/monster/humanoid names


So… it continues to grow. Am I near the end? I thought that one year and 37,000 words ago!
