My best memory of WdC is from a very bad day. I was participating in Nano or Octoprep. I had gotten stuck on my story. I was in a bad place emotionally. I was moments from trashing all of my writing and giving it up entirely. Going through the motions I read my email. The first one I opened was the “Keep it Up.” It was from Schnujo. She had sent it as part of one of her fan giveaways. It was a kind gesture I needed at that time. It was enough to get me to change my mind.
