Heliocentric Observations
The warm afternoon sun falls to the encroaching twilight, offering final desperate flares of orange and pink and purple as its death knell. Then the night gradually ushers twilight out the same door, asserting its dark dominance over the heavens.

It fights long and hard for permanency, but like its siblings before it, the night must eventually cede the skies to the impending dawn.

then the sun rises
like a celestial phoenix
heralding rebirth
