The Stand

I love The Stand, by Stephen king. It is a long book and very immersive. It pulls you into the story. I sniffled during the part about the superflu, and freaked out. The characters are vivid and well rounded. With the exception of Flag all the bad guys were at least a little sympathetic. All the good guys had their faults. The best thing is King was relatively fair with his characters. There were reasons behind every good and bad thing that happened to them. In the end the good guys won, but sacrifices were made. I love this book.
